This Memorial Day, we would like to take a moment to honor the members of our Armed Forces who have given the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country. There are no words that can adequately express the immense gratitude and appreciation we have for these brave men and women who lost their lives while protecting our American freedoms. Our hearts and prayers are with their family and friends today.

We have gathered a few verses and messages below. Our hope is that you may be able to find comfort and peace in the words of God.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
