An Uplifted Heart

An uplifted heart is a euphemism, a mild way of saying something harsh. It’s a euphemism for pride. God hates pride because it keeps the unsaved from coming to Him and the saved from kneeling to Him. The remedy for an uplifted heart is to forget you and remember God.
