This month, Aaron Brockett, lead minister with Trader’s Point Christian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana will be helping us tackle the question of trust. We know we don’t come into the world with trust issues, we develop them. Trust issues occur when someone you felt close to hurts you, disappoints you, or lets you down in some way.

He knew that stories were impactful in the hearts and minds of people, that they remembered stories. He also knew that they were a way to help them gain a greater understanding about life: life with God, life with each other.

It’s kinda like this, if our mental health were a garden we would be doing our best to be showing roses, knowing full well we are dealing with weeds in our garden. Just know this though; if you're struggling with worry, anxiety, stress, burnout, or something more - you're not alone. In fact, being honest about what we're struggling with is the first step towards healing.
Our speaker this month, Ben Cachiaras, is the lead minister with Mountain Christian Church, Joppa, Maryland. This week Ben takes a look at how God can Release and Remove the weeds from our lives.. if we just let Him!

Everybody is either struggling with some of this stuff or knows someone who is. Jesus cares and He gets us. Making the turn to him will open the door to getting help and hope.
