The Currency of Trust

Trust is a fragile thing: it’s hard to earn and easy to lose. All of us have trust issues—with people, organized religion, and even God himself. This month we have 3 messages that will get honest about our trust issues, and we take look at how God is ultimately the only one worthy of our trust.
This month, Aaron Brockett, lead minister with Trader’s Point Christian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana will be helping us tackle the question of trust. We know we don’t come into the world with trust issues, we develop them. Trust issues occur when someone you felt close to hurts you, disappoints you, or lets you down in some way.
The breaking of trust, it could be intentional or unintentional—it doesn’t really matter. When trust is broken, a relational debt develops;

Signs are… a good share of us are struggling… that is, if we were to be really honest about our mental health. It’s kinda like this, if our mental health were a garden we would be doing our best to be showing roses, knowing full well we are dealing with weeds in our garden. Just know this though; if you're struggling with worry, anxiety, stress, burnout, or something more - you're not alone. In fact, being honest about what we're struggling with is the first step towards healing.
Our speaker this month, Ben Cachiaras, is the lead minister with Mountain Christian Church, Joppa, Maryland. This week Ben takes a look at how God can Release and Remove the weeds from our lives.. if we just let Him!

Just know this though; if you're struggling with stress and burnout - you're not alone. In fact, being honest about what we're struggling with is the first step towards healing.

Everybody is either struggling with some of this stuff or knows someone who is. Jesus cares and He gets us. Making the turn to him will open the door to getting help and hope.
