God came in Christ to offer us forgiveness through the cross. He rose again the third day and set about bringing the world back home. "Talk to me," says the Father. "Prayer is the means; I have made a way." But there is a problem - we don't know how. Luke 11:1 & Matthew 6:9-14

A bewildered human race is like a man lost in a forest asking, "Father, are you there?" In 1945, at the end of World War II, Helmut Thielicke, a brilliant theologian, preaching through the Lord's Prayer to what was left of his congregation in the ruins of his church in Stuttgart said, "Everything will be all right so long as we hear His good voice calling to us above the howling of the wolves, above the sound of branches snapping, above the ominous noises around us. God is always there." A Christian worldview believes in the Fatherhood of God. Luke 11:1-5

Are you going through the motions with no real passion for your faith or God? Are you dull and ineffective? If so, you’ve lost your spiritual edge, and there’s nothing that delights the devil more. Find out how to sharpen your faith again in this single message from Jill Briscoe. Teaching from the story of Elisha and a lost ax, Jill encourages you to uncover how and where you lost your edge. Ask yourself honestly – have you lost it to bitterness, unforgiveness, lust, materialism, willfulness, laziness, or just plain selfishness? "What is God's will for my life?" It's a serious question that is asked by believers of all ages facing all kinds of decisions and uncertainty. As Jill Briscoe explains, you cannot know the will of God until you find God and get to know Him personally–or at least slow down long enough for Him to find you! God does not intend for His will to be a mystery to us. In fact, He makes it perfectly clear in His word. What can we learn from the stories of the Bible...from how Jesus handled certain situations? A great deal! Through this teaching, you'll learn how you can know God's will for your life and then begin to apply it in practical ways. Are you ready to surrender your plans if it means you will accomplish His?

Security comes with the confidence of knowing who you are and where you belong. In Ecclesiastes 4, we see Solomon mourning for the lost outside his palace gates as he watches them toil with the meaningless distractions of this world. Today, there are still millions of people walking around with the emptiness of not knowing God. And as this breaks the Lord's heart, it should move us to take action in sharing the Gospel. This is the 6th teaching in Jill's 6-message series, Searching, from the Book of Ecclesiastes.

If we are honest with ourselves, instant gratification is the driving force for many of our actions. But that pleasure soon fades. Jill brings us to Ecclesiastes 2 where Solomon puts this theory to the test in an effort to see what truly satisfies. This is the 5th teaching in Jill's 6-message series, Searching, from the Book of Ecclesiastes.

When you can't feel God with your feelings, feel Him with your faith. There are plenty of times in life when we feel like God isn't with us because we are focused on our emotions. These are the times when it is crucial to speak Scripture over our circumstances. Then we will find ourselves being lifted out of the pit. This is the 4th teaching in Jill's 6-message series, Searching, from the Book of Ecclesiastes.
