There are no guarantees that all will go smoothly in life or marriage because there are many forces intent on destroying our lives and relationships. But God promised us the resources we need to deal with life’s eventualities and we have to decide which way we are going to go—or as Joshua said, which gods are we going to serve?

Have you ever witnessed someone growing in their faith and then suddenly there is a horrible spiritual attack? Jesus warned there is an enemy of the harvest—crows that are bent on snatching the seeds scattered in the fields before strong roots can take hold. We may not like to think about it, but Satan is eager to discourage and snatch away believers. In this message, Jill Briscoe encourages all the saints to get in the fight, disciple those around them, and help people grow strong roots in their faith.

It's easy to see when a garden needs watering. The plant leaves begin to wilt, the ground becomes dry, and cracks appear. And if the plants aren't tended to, they're at risk of withering and dying. It's the same with people who need Jesus. In this message, Jill Briscoe helps us understand what's at risk and asks us to dedicate ourselves to impacting people in our sphere of influence.

Can an orchid grow in a putrid and smoldering garbage pile? Yes, and it has. That's the power of life within the seed. And so it is with the Good News. Are you all out for Jesus, scattering news of Him wherever you go, no matter how dirty or unwelcoming the circumstance might be? In this message, Jill Briscoe encourages us to believe that God's Word will always find good soil. It's up to us to take advantage of every opportunity so that the fields will be ready for someone to come along and harvest to the glory of God.

Whether we realize it or not, hostile forces are at work all around us. The devil is constantly trying to bring down as many people as he can. So, when we are struggling with depression, worry, low self-confidence, or fear, it’s important to root ourselves in prayer. In this message, Jill discusses the battle between good and evil and gives us ways we can keep our prayer life strong—especially when we are in the midst of the fight.

Many of us have times in our lives where we feel we’ve lost our spiritual effectiveness. This can happen in a number of ways. Maybe our disciplines have gone awry, our habits have slipped, our priorities changed, or we’ve let worry, pride or selfishness get in the way. In this message, Jill explains what happens when we lose our spiritual effectiveness, and she shares the steps we can take to retrieve it.

When we pray, most of us spend a lot of time praying for ourselves, our family, and our friends. But did you know there is a lot more that God wants us to pray about? In this message, Jill uses the story of the little pot of oil to explain how we can let the Holy Spirit guide us in our prayer life so that God can work in our lives.

Have you ever felt like you’re running out of prayers? Maybe you’re disappointed with God because you prayed so hard and the prayer wasn’t answered. Or maybe you’ve just run out of spiritual energy, or you’re in a bad situation in your life and you don’t know how you are going to get through it. In this message, Jill talks about what happens when we feel like we have no prayers left to give, and she offers tools for getting through it.

In the story of Elijah, God answers Elijah’s prayer and sends fire from heaven down to Elijah’s altar, in order to show the people of Israel that He is the one and only true God. This is just one example of how God answers prayer. In this message, Jill uses the analogy of an altar and describes twelve components that make up our relationship with God. It’s a way of helping us understand how God can send “fire” down to our altars to answer our prayers.
