Most of us can think of a time when we had a craving for something sweet... a cookie, ice cream, or a brownie. For some, this kind of craving can result in an internal battle. The flesh says yes, but the mind may be thinking of the ramifications and may want to say no. The same is true with the sin in our lives. The mind may understand that it's a bad thing to do, but the body may just react and sin out of habit or discouragement. In this message, Jill shares how we can combat sin and be holy. This is the 4th message in Jill's 7-message series, "Here Am I, Send Aaron," from the Book of Exodus.

Many of us live a Christian life that's like a saggy bed. We're rock firm on one end and rock firm on the other. We know we've accepted Christ, and we know we're going to heaven when we die. But we sag in the middle. So how do we fix the sag? In this message, Jill helps us learn to obey and apply what the Bible teaches so that we can grow in our faith. This is the 3rd message in Jill's 7-message series, "Here Am I, Send Aaron," from the Book of Exodus.

Often times, you'll hear runners talk about the "wall" they hit when they are running. They can either stop running or push through the wall. Although it's hard to push through the wall, the reward is great because they usually experience a surge of energy and feel like they could run forever. As Christians, we can hit a "wall" that makes us feel stuck in our Christian walk. Although it's hard to push through it, when we do, we see a huge growth spurt. In this message, Jill explains how we can push through our "wall" to grow as a Christian. This is the 2nd message in Jill's 7-message series, "Here Am I, Send Aaron," from the Book of Exodus.

When you think of witnessing, what comes to mind? Many think witnessing is scary and intimidating. Others think it's something that just pastors and ministry leaders should do. But God believes witnessing is everyone's job, and He has given each and every one of us the tools to do it. In this message, Jill explains how we can learn to witness. This is the 1st message in Jill's 7-message series, "Here Am I, Send Aaron," from the Book of Exodus.

David did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord and turned not aside from anything that He commanded, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite (I Kings 15:5). David broke seven of the ten commandments in one night of sensual indulgence. Sin is coming short of God's standard and has consequences. Is there any sin too big for God to forgive? Can someone who has sinned be restored and renewed? Can God use them again? In other words, is there "life after sin"? Based on Psalm 51. This is the 3rd message in Jill's series "Slaying Giants" on the life of David.

David fought and won battles with the Giants of pride, greed, revenge, fear, and despair, and wrote Psalms of praise to his God that are sung in hundreds of languages thousands of years later. David did well for two decades. Then came "middle age." The Giants of Wrath, conferring about which of their number to send out to bring David down, chose one of their most trusted and best. Giant Temptation. "Let's see what you can do," they said as they sent him on his way from the dark places. Giant Temptation settled down to wait for his opportunity. It was not long in coming. And so it was "in the time that kings went forth to war, David stayed at home." This is the 2nd message in Jill's series "Slaying Giants" on the life of David, and it's based on II Samuel 11.

There is a battle going on, Goliath of Gath represents the evil forces opposed to the LORD God Almighty. God calls, equips, and empowers His servants for the good fight of faith for His honor and glory. By the age of 20, David, shepherd boy of Bethlehem, battle ready, had killed his first giant. Based on I Samuel 17, this is the 1st message in Jill's series "Slaying Giants" on the life of David.

Being in a valley isn't proof that God has left us or that He doesn't care. God is our shepherd. He is leading us, protecting and correcting us. This is how we know God's love for us, through his action in our lives. In the final installment of Jill's 8-message series God’s Love for Us, we learn that God's rod corrects us, like He corrected David after his sin with Bathsheba, but His staff comforts us through these corrections. Loving discipline shows God's love for us. Psalm 23

At times, we may feel useless, uncreative, ungifted, and unfit to do God's work. But simply by the fact that God has brought us into a redemptive relationship with Him, we can be encouraged that He has gifted us! The Holy Spirit is our gift; He is our anointing to do the good works that God has prepared in advance for us to do. He Gifts Me, the seventh message of Jill Briscoe's series God’s Love for Us, assures us that God has gifted us and God will see us through the tasks He set before us. We can say, as David says, "He has exalted me by helping me to know Him." II Samuel 23
