June 17, 2015
Thanks for joining us for a Wednesday edition of SDR. Pastor Jeff is in the book of Galatians chapter 4. One of the qualities of a pastor is one who genuinely cares for his congregation. The Apostle Paul was that caring pastor who protected his flock. When the religious Jews tried to persuade the Galatians back into Legalism, the Apostle Paul pleaded with them his concerns and reminds them of their love towards him. There’s an old saying that says, “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.” The Apostle Paul has been addressing the issue of legalism and combating the religious groups. But he changes his tone to give the Galatians his personal plead, to remain in the Grace that they received when they first believed. Join Pastor Jeff for a messaged titled, “Paul’s Personal Plead.”

Welcome to Mondays edition of SDR. As adults we have to make many decisions, where we are going to work, live and who we will marry. But the most important decision any one will ever make is the decision to receive Christ as their Lord and Savior. Once that decision is made, we are promised eternal life. So why do we find people today backing out of that decision to follow legalism and religions? Well this is what was happening in Galatia, because of the legalistic false teachers. Pastor Jeff gives the conclusion to his messaged called, “It’s a Matter Of Choice.”

We are in the book of Galatians chapter 4 and pastor Jeff is starting at vs 8. The Apostle Paul begins to spiritually spank the Galatians for their legalistic and religious practices. Christ has rescued us from the bondage of sin and legalism, but mans nature is to run back to it. Pastor Jeff teaches us that these things are elementary, and we need to remain spiritually mature in Christ. Stay tuned for a message called, “It’s A Matter Of Choice.”

Thanks for joining us today on a Thursdays edition of SDR. We have been going through the series Pastor Jeff has titled, “Be Free and Grow Up”. The Apostle Paul declared, “When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things.” He went on to say “abide in faith, hope, love.” We are not exhorted to abide in legalism, that’s childish. We’ll hear more about this in the conclusion of “Be Free and Grow Up.”

Thanks for joining us for todays broadcast. Those who seem to be more spiritual because of their religious activities are actually immature. They have no knowledge of the freedom and grace God has given us and are stunted spiritually. Join Pastor Jeff as he picks up explaining how the world was primed to receive the Gospel of Grace.

Thanks for joining us today on SDR. We are at the conclusion of Pastor Jeff’s series titled, “The Promise and the Law." It's been such an encouraging lesson that our righteousness, hope and future is not based on the Law, but on Christ. Jesus gave us the inheritance to the promises of God by believing in Him. No works are needed, no religious catechisms required, but the Word says, the just shall live by faith. Stay tuned for the conclusion of The Promise and the Law.

Recently a man from Alabama was released from spending 30 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. He will never see his prison cell again because he was found innocent based on new evidence. The Apostle Paul is making the case for liberty from the Law. Because of the evidence of Christ’s life and work on Calvary, humanity has been set free from the death sentence the Law brought. Join Pastor Jeff as he begins Part 2 of the series called, The Promise and the Law.
