God loves us by not tolerating our sinful ways. He warns us about it with His truth found in the Bible. But, God also loves us by always leaving the door open for us to return to Him. Departing from God only leaves us in fear. One person can cause thousands to be in terror.

When we follow God, our lives will be blessed. When we seek the Lord, and obey Him, the troubles of our day will not affect us. God’s grace is enough, because we know that Jesus is on the throne. He loves us by leaving the door open to return to Him.

God does not give up on His people. We may try to run from Him, but He is relentless in pursuing us. If we would just pray and talk to Him, He will lead us to His truth. We need to be wise by not trusting in the promises of man. Instead, we are to keep praying, keep doing the right thing, and leave the outcome to God.

Love by nature, is sacrificial - it doesn't take, it gives. God loves by willfully humbling Himself to the point of sacrificing His Son for us. According to the Bible, God IS love, that's why He can't tolerate sin and rebellion.

We’re living the days of deception. The doctrine we hold onto are the teachings that shape our belief systems. And, it is our belief system that dictates our lifestyle. And, it is our lifestyle that reveals what we truly put our faith in.

Israel had become drunk on false doctrines and man-made customs. The Word of God had no effect on them because of the traditions that had been handed down to them. But, that’s when God will use difficulties, hardships and challenges to do a work in their lives, and in ours.

On today’s program, Pastor Jack reminds us that we’re to get together regularly with other believers. That way the church stands united in the truth. We need to know our Bible with the intent to apply it. Otherwise, we could be called hypocrites for not sharing the only thing that keeps us from spiritual deception.

The church needs to stand for the truth, but it needs to understand what the truth is. False doctrine has become rampant in the church today, and false prophets will only tell you what you want to hear. That’s why we need to fight hypocrisy with our Bibles open. Our life depends on it.
