Were we sending our kids there to be sure that the next generation of pastors, political leaders, and academic teachers/professors in Christian colleges will be twice as liberal as the last batch? J.D. Grear and Matt Chandler are talking Class Privilege, and there is a great deal of debate over Tim Keller’s social justice theories, and appreciation for Marxists. We try to figure out why college-aged kids are leaving church by the droves - 70% of them. And most of them leave church “unintentionally.” That means most kids are attending church unintentionally! Families attend church like they drop in on Taco Bell. However, what they fail to understand is the church is not Taco Bell. The Church is not an event. It is the body of the living Christ. And to join the body of Christ is an all-or-nothing proposition.
