August 24, 2012
Mom, has cleaning, cooking and changing diapers all day lost its luster? While your daily “to-do” list may seem trivial to you at times, it doesn’t mean it’s not of vital importance. Today, mother of two, Tracey Eyster, creator and editor of, reminds mothers that what they are doing — shaping and molding the next generation — is more important than any other job out there. Tracey talks about some of the attitudes that often hinder a mother emotionally, including the attitude, “I’m just a mom.”

Tracey Eyster, author of Be the Mom, talks frankly about the early years of her marriage as she and her husband, Bill, were climbing the corporate ladder. A season of infertility, followed by the joyous birth of their daughter, showed her that her focus now had truly changed, and she longed to be home. Erin reflects how her ministry to kids has been enriched since she had children of her own, and how God is using motherhood as a way to reach the world.
