Sally wants children to know that God will turn everything bad into good in the end, and that the best is yet to come. Sometimes one bold, courageous step can lead to a higher calling and purpose. Such is the case for Sally Lloyd-Jones, author of “The Jesus Storybook Bible.” Sally recalls how her father sent her off to boarding school at the tender age of eight with the words of Joshua 1, “Be strong and very courageous.” Though ill and terribly frightened at the time, Sally was sure that God was going ahead of her.
