We hope you’re ready to dive back into God’s Word here on a Daily Walk. As Christians we all have a lot to be thankful for, not the least of which is the wonderful place God has prepared for us called Heaven. In our verse by verse study through Revelation, we reach chapter nineteen today. After all of the wrath and destruction we’ve read about in the last few chapters, we finally get to the really good news here in chapter nineteen.

Peace, joy, hope, grace… we recognize those as blessings right away… but have you ever thought of Tribulation as a blessing? We can actually triumph in our trials through the faithfulness of God, and we’ll explain why here on a Daily Walk! Pastor John Randall is spotlighting some of the many blessings of justification. God has blessed us beyond measure, and after listening today, I think you’ll be left with even more gratitude to God than you already have. A great study to get us all ready for Thanksgiving!

In recent weeks pastor John Randall has helped us arrive at an understanding of the doctrine of justification… how we become right with God. Yes it’s truly amazing that God would be willing to save sinners like you and me. And if that wasn’t enough, God also pours out some amazing blessings into our lives, once we become saved. We’ll highlight a few of them today… like peace with God and access to God and His grace.

Soon we'll celebrate with friends and family, at the Thanksgiving Dinner table. It’s fun to celebrate with a feast, remembering the good things God has done. There are a large number of people today that are under the illusion that they can gain a right standing with God through their good behavior. Ask them a question like, “Are you going to heaven when you die?” And they might say something like, “I think so, I’m a pretty good person.” Today we open our Bibles to Romans chapter four, and see the truth about our salvation. We’re all made righteous through trust in Christ alone, and not by anything we have done.

One of the most fascinating and well-known persons in the Bible is Abraham. Yes he lived long ago but his story still speaks to us today, providing great encouragement to trust in Jesus alone for salvation. In Romans chapter four the argument for salvation by grace through faith is made by using the historical account of Abraham. Pastor John Randall will explore this liberating truth of how God not only saved Abraham by faith apart from works but really all of us!

Today we’re going to unwrap the beautiful doctrine of salvation. We’re guilty sinners, with no way to become righteous on our own. But God provided a solution to our problem. While being Just, He at the same time justifies the guilty sinner through the work of Jesus on the cross.
