Pastor John Randall will be completing our series in Romans today, and here at the end of the book we get a good idea of how to avoid division and divisive people.  Walking in obedience to God’s Word is key.

We’ve seen it so often in the church, a family, neighborhood and even in this nation… division!  And it’s not hard to see the damage that’s left behind.  How does God feel about it, how can we avoid it?  Those are just a couple of key questions pastor John Randall will address in this our final study of Romans on a Daily Walk.  We’re learning how to prevent division.

Today we’ll see the great value in having friends in the Christian life.  God wants us to work together as a team, with the same goal in mind.

Well we’re just about finished with our study of Romans.  In the sixteenth and final chapter Paul makes mention of a number of people he served the Lord with and considered friends!  He very much loved and appreciated them.  And pastor John Randall will take a look at each of them today and tomorrow.

We’re nearing the end of our studies in Romans. And as we do, we’re getting to know the apostle Paul on a personal level. He writes in this letter to the church in Rome, about why he does what he does  with the recognition that he’s only an instrument in God’s hands. We can learn a lot from Paul’s example, as he shares his goals and plans.
March 10, 2020
We’ll be entering into a more personal and biographical section of Romans, and glean insight on Paul’s heart for the Church in Rome!  We’ll discover why he was so effective as a leader, teacher and preacher of the gospel. He made it his aim to be pleasing to the Lord, and sought to glorify the Lord.

You’ve probably noticed, not everyone in the church shares the same opinions as you do.  They have certain personal preferences, that you don’t have.   That’s ok!  And today, pastor John emphasizes how we’re to work towards unity in matters of opinion or doubtful things.
March 6, 2020
There are some things the Bible is very clear about… you shouldn’t steal, or commit adultery for instance.  But then there’s another area we might classify as “Doubtful things.”  The Bible doesn’t say one way or the other, what we’re to do.  Like, what color should the carpet be in the church?  We’re free to have differences of opinion over these doubtful things, but we must never divide over it.  Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall encourages us to work towards unity with Romans chapter fifteen in view.

It’s not hard to see, our nation is divided.  While that’s the case in the world, it shouldn’t be the case in the church.  Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall encourages us to work through our differences and work toward unity.
March 4, 2020
Maybe you’ve noticed, not every Christian shares the same opinions as you, and we may have different convictions. But that doesn’t mean we should be dividing over it. While God’s commands are to be obeyed, one of them is to not condemn our brother or sister who practice their God given liberties or have different convictions than we do.  Today on a Daily Walk see how to work together toward unity.
