You’ve probably noticed, not everyone in the church shares the same opinions as you do.  They have certain personal preferences, that you don’t have.   That’s ok!  And today, pastor John emphasizes how we’re to work towards unity in matters of opinion or doubtful things.

There are some things the Bible is very clear about… you shouldn’t steal, or commit adultery for instance.  But then there’s another area we might classify as “Doubtful things.”  The Bible doesn’t say one way or the other, what we’re to do.  Like, what color should the carpet be in the church?  We’re free to have differences of opinion over these doubtful things, but we must never divide over it.  Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall encourages us to work towards unity with Romans chapter fifteen in view.

It’s not hard to see, our nation is divided.  While that’s the case in the world, it shouldn’t be the case in the church.  Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall encourages us to work through our differences and work toward unity.

Maybe you’ve noticed, not every Christian shares the same opinions as you, and we may have different convictions. But that doesn’t mean we should be dividing over it. While God’s commands are to be obeyed, one of them is to not condemn our brother or sister who practice their God given liberties or have different convictions than we do.  Today on a Daily Walk see how to work together toward unity.

It’s a good idea from time to time to look in the mirror and see how we fair.  The word of God is likened to a mirror, that will honestly show us our true condition. As we continue in the book of Romans today on a Daily Walk we may see some things that we’ll need to add into our life. And some things we must cast off.

Most of us have experienced this… we’ve overslept and missed an important appointment.  Sadly many Christians are asleep spiritually, and are missing out on something good!  As we’ll see today on a Daily Walk it’s time to wake-up!  We’re in the last days, and Jesus is coming soon.  With that in mind, we need to be ready and we need to be loving others.

As this world gets darker by the minute, the Christian is to stand out as a light in a dark world!  What does that look like?  We get a good picture of what should be seen in the life of the believer in Romans chapter twelve.  Today pastor John Randall highlights several Christian virtues that should mark our lives.
February 25, 2020
We’re going to ask you to look in the mirror today, and consider if these Christian virtues we find in Romans 12 verses 9-21 are present or absent in your life!  It beautifully describes how we’re to live and love in this world.
