Devotional Archives for Your Daily Prayer

Let’s not confuse sitting with sinners as somehow renouncing our salvation or our belief in God’s Word.

No matter how we put it into practice, overflowing with thankfulness is always a good idea.

If you, like me, often breeze through the Psalms, let me encourage you to meditate on this book as you seek to reject the world's ways and hide God’s words in your heart.

As we join in prayer, let’s ask ourselves this. “What do I need, only for today?”

Whenever we doubt God’s timing, all we need to do is look in the Bible to see how God is in the details of life.

When we face rejection from others, we must remember that Jesus understands more than anyone what rejection feels like, as He is very familiar with it Himself.

As we go about our lives, may we remember this biblical truth: we can’t truly love others the way Jesus does until we learn to forgive like Jesus.

Jesus not only believed in the power of praying but the power of praying for one another. As believers, we cannot shy away from this part of our roles in the Body of Christ. We don’t need to be a pastor, ministry leader, or in Christ for long to pray with a friend or stranger.

I slowly learned that reading my Bible was less about my complete understanding of every passage and more about meeting with God and discovering more about who He is and what He is like! And that has changed everything.

Today, run to Him, love Him. He is the salvation you are looking for from your enemies.
