Devotional Archives for Your Daily Prayer

It is not always easy to remember those less fortunate, especially when we ourselves are experiencing seasons of financial strain, physical exhaustion, and spiritual burnout. But friend, remember these words from Jesus in Matthew 25:40, "Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.”

Wisdom is knowing that time here on earth is fleeting, and we do not know what tomorrow brings, so we should not take a single breath for granted.

We find our hope in the personhood of God. He is everything we could ever hope for, and he promises us his presence.

When a believer accepts Jesus as his or her Savior, from that moment on they are sealed by the Holy Spirit. This means that they have God living inside of them for the rest of eternity they are secure in Him they are safe in His arms, and they are forever His children.

That is why we must keep our eyes fixed upon the hope of eternity and not on this life. And that is why faith in God is so important because it is the rock on which we stand when trials and the storms of life come because they will.

Friend, don’t give up on your spiritual growth. Even when progress is slow, know that the Lord is doing a good work in those whom He loves and that He is faithful to complete it!

When I choose the easy way of my own understanding, I miss out on deepening my trust in God’s character.

Jesus is calling us. Listen and look for Him in the present and the future. Look back briefly enough to remember how important it is to keep running forward.

Your beauty or worth as a woman isn’t about how hard you can slay or hustle, how immaculately clean your home looks, or how well-behaved your children are. Real beauty comes from total dependency on God. What blooms in your life will be beautiful because of Him.
