Steve Brown: Our daughters and granddaughters are great cooks, and they make the best cookies. They learned to make cookies from their mother and grandmother. But it wasn't always that way. When they were little, the cookies they made were horrible—like eating stones, maybe worse.
I ate a lot of those bad cookies and discovered a principle: bad cookies taste better when they're made by someone you love. Are there some people who drive you nuts? Don't try to fix it. Ask God to cause you to love them the way He loves you. Bad cookies really do taste better when you love the cook. I'm Steve Brown. You think about that.
