Authority Problem
The Cross is a reflection of God’s tears for us.
The post Authority Problem appeared first on Key Life.
Steve Brown: When I was a small boy, I did something really bad. My mother was angry. She yelled at me, spanked me, and threatened me. I have an authority problem and always have, and I remember thinking, "You can yell at me all you want, but when I get out of here, just to show you, I'm doing it again."
Then I walked by the kitchen and noticed my mother crying. I didn't become perfect, are you kidding, but better. Tears will do that.
The cross is a lot of things, but it's also a reflection of the tears of God for us. If that doesn't affect you, your authority problem is bigger than mine.
I get mad at stop signs. I'm Steve Brown. You think about that.

Are you feeling guilty? Maybe it’s what you said to your husband or wife last night...what you did years ago…the places where you’re struggling right now. What do you do with your guilt? Ignore it or bury it? Or is there another way, one that can handle guilt for good? Guilt can lead us back to Christ to find true and lasting forgiveness. His death paid the debt for all our sins. He loves us that much.
