A Pastor’s Heart
If God is trying to fix something, don’t get in the way and try to fix it yourself.
The post A Pastor’s Heart appeared first on Key Life.
Steve Brown: I have a pastor's heart, and sometimes I hate it. The downside of that is that I want to fix every problem. Sometimes pastors think they are everybody's mother. There are Christians like that too.
Let me tell you something I've learned that you might find helpful. Sometimes the problem is from him, and even mothers shouldn't get in the way. Be concerned, pray, and show compassion, of course, but if God is trying to fix something, don't you try to fix it yourself. It makes the problem worse.
The trick, of course, is to know the difference between what to leave alone and what to try and fix. I'm not sure how to do that.
