Amazing Grace
Why was Noah favored in God’s sight? Because God is full of kindness and compassion.
Guest (Male): Open the Bible with Colin Smith.
Colin Smith: All through the Bible, we find God warning people of judgment and saving people by grace. "I will blot out man whom I have created," God says. But Noah found favor or grace in the eyes of the Lord.
God was kind to Noah and told him that judgment was coming, and then told him what he needed to do to be saved. See, the warnings of judgment in the Bible are not the angry outbursts of a vindictive God. They're the gracious call of a loving God who says, "I must destroy evil and I will, but I don't want to destroy you, and here's how you can escape."
God warns you that judgment is coming, and God offers you grace in Jesus Christ. Are you open to discovering what the Bible says about God? Well, then come to openthebible.org.
