Galatians 1:11-12
11 I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. 12 I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.

The gospel is a revelation of Jesus Christ and it comes by revelation. God is personal and He takes the initiative to make Himself known. God must make Himself known if we are ever to know Him. The nature of the case is that God is holy and we are sinful. God is infinite and we are finite. God is incomprehensible in His perfection to finite and sinful man. The good news is that God takes the initiative to reveal Himself and not just reveal Himself but reveal Himself in a way that we can know Him, be saved by Him and be in a love relationship with Him. That’s the gospel!

Do you know Jesus Christ? Have you received Him into your life? Are you living today based upon His revelation? God has made Himself known, do you see Him?
