The Healing Word

In today’s message, A Safe Place, we are drawn to one of the most remarkable moments in the life of Jacob—a night when fear, uncertainty, and isolation met the presence of God. Alone and on the run, Jacob lay down to sleep with nothing but a stone for a pillow. It was there, in that unlikely and vulnerable place, that God revealed Himself through a dream of angels ascending and descending on a stairway reaching to heaven.

As we reflect on this account, we are reminded that the same God who watched over Jacob offers us a place of refuge today—a place where heaven touches earth, where promises are reaffirmed, and where our hearts can rest securely in Him.
