Compelling Love
On today’s Healing Word broadcast, Pastor Jack Morris has a message for those who are struggling with living a godly life in a world full of temptation and compromise. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 5:14-15, the Apostle Paul reminds us:
“For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again.”
Pastor Jack expounds on these verses, showing us that the cross is not just a symbol of forgiveness but also a call to transformation. Because of what Christ has done for us—bearing our sins and giving us new life—we are compelled to leave behind sin and our old ways of living. This message encourages us to walk in the freedom of grace, empowered by love, and live fully for Christ who gave everything for us.

In God’s Wonders Made Visible, Pastor Jack Morris reflects on John chapter 9, where Jesus notices a man who has been blind from birth. This wasn’t a recent hardship; it had shaped the man’s entire life. He didn’t ask for help, and he didn’t draw attention to himself.
But Jesus saw him, and He chose that long-standing need as the place where God’s work would be made visible.
