Questions and Answers on Spiritual Gifts
"Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly." Romans 12:6
Last week, Open Bible Hour teacher Dick Johnson explained how every Christian is given one or more spiritual gifts at the time of salvation which are to be used to edify other believers within the body of Christ and to impact non-Christians as well.
Scripture mentions 16 spiritual gifts that can be generally divided into three categories: speaking gifts (5), serving gifts (7), and sign gifts (4). This week, Dick Johnson will join us for Part 2 to answer any questions or comments you have on the topic of spiritual gifts. We’ll also discuss the oft-debated category of sign gifts, whether the gifts of miracles, healing, tongues, and interpretation of tongues are still in effect today or whether they were for a specific time and purpose in the 1st Century.
