Kingdom Now ... Or Later?

February 28, 2010
00:00
The kingdom. You read about it all over Scripture, but what exactly does it mean? Does the kingdom refer to a present reality on earth or a future reign? How is the kingdom of God similar or different than the kingdom of heaven? How is the kingdom defined different ways by different people? What does it mean when someone proclaims, "Christians must work to bring in the kingdom!" or "Christ will return when the kingdom takes dominion on the earth"?
David Wheaton, and guest Phil Johnson, Executive Director of Grace to You, will answer these questions on this week's The Christian Worldview program.
Says Wheaton, "Having a clear understanding of the meaning of the kingdom and a Christian's role in it is critically important. Phil Johnson, the executive director of Grace to You and keynote speaker at next week's Shepherds' Conference, will give us a biblical perspective on the kingdom and how it applies to you."
