Is There Equality in Marriage? Part 2

March 5, 2021
00:00

Ephesians 5:22 is the often quoted verse that tells wives to submit to their husbands as they do to the Lord. Unsurprisingly, this verse has pricked the nerves of both women and men as they battle to apply this verse in their marriages.

Is it possible that for far too long, the church has been inaccurately teaching the true meaning of this verse? What are the possible translations of the Greek word “submit” that could shine a brighter light on the picture Paul was attempting to paint?

Even if you’ve heard previous teaching on this verse, join Pete Briscoe as he opens God’s Word and exposes the limited view many hold regarding this text. He’ll help you gain a deeper and more profound understanding of how this verse in the proper context will enrich your marriage and your relationship with God.
