Being Sure About Heaven

March 3, 2014
There is a peace that comes with knowing you can trust in someone's promise.  Being sure about our eternity in heaven is no exception. Jill speaks on John 14 where Jesus promises all believers that He has gone to prepare a place for us and he will return for us once again. His death on the cross made it possible for Him to follow through on this promise.
This is the 1st message in Jill's 6-message series on heaven and hell titled, "What Happens When We Die?"

Are you going through the motions with no real passion for your faith or God? Are you dull and ineffective? If so, you’ve lost your spiritual edge, and there’s nothing that delights the devil more. Find out how to sharpen your faith again in this single message from Jill Briscoe.  Teaching from the story of Elisha and a lost ax, Jill encourages you to uncover how and where you lost your edge. Ask yourself honestly – have you lost it to bitterness, unforgiveness, lust, materialism, willfulness, laziness, or just plain selfishness? Be encouraged that the lost ax is not the end of the story – it can be found, with God’s help!

Have you ever noticed how kids try to hide things they've done wrong - a broken family heirloom, a bad report card, or a dent in the car? As much as he or she tries to hide the mistake, most often the parents find out. The same is true of our sin. As much as we try to bury our sin, God always knows about it. But how do we confront it? In this message by Jill, she teaches us what to do with sin so that we can make God the true ruler of our lives. This is the final message in Jill's 6-message series on Joshua titled, "How to Be Up When You're Down."
