Immanuel: God With Us-Christ in Us, Part 1
The unveiling of one of the Bible’s greatest mysteries was fulfilled in the Christmas story: A virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name “Emmanuel.” Fulfilled in Matthew’s gospel, the virgin Mary bore Jesus, Emmanuel, interpreted —God with us.
Isaiah, received the revelation of the coming Messiah as God with us, but he never saw—nor could he have understood that Jesus not only fulfilled God with us in the flesh—but through our faith in his death and the new birth, He is Christ IN us!
O wonder of wonders! The Word of God became flesh and dwelled among us! Paul said that this mystery had been hidden from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to us. It is awesome to have God with us, but we have received an upgrade: It is now Christ in us!

It’s not a brass trumpet, but a shofar—a ram's horn. There are 4 different blasts: One was long, increasing in loudness, the one that sounded on Mt. Sinai when God spoke. God came down, and Moses went up, symbolic of the rapture of the saints. Rabbis say that Satan can’t tell the difference between the shofar & God’s voice. In Revelation, John confirmed God’s voice sounded like a shofar saying, “Come up here” typifying the rapture. Paul called it “the last trump” that will wake up the dead in Christ & summon the living to be caught up together to meet the Lord in the air. It is not the seventh trumpet of Rev. 8 as the “mid-trib” stance claims—meaning the living Church will go through the first half of the Tribulation. We have been delivered from the wrath to come!
