Amalekites Among Us, Part 1
The Amalekites are the descendents of Ismael, Jacob's uncle, and Esau, his twin brother, who married Ismael's daughter. They have proven to be Israel's worst enemy to this day, but Amalek is also God's enemy. God said that He would be at war with him through all generations. King Saul was commanded to kill them all, but he spared their King Agag, whom the prophet Samuel then killed with the sword. Yet his descendent, Haman the Agagite, turned up centuries later when Israel was in exile in Persia. He devised a plot to kill all the Jews in the kingdom, and he would have gotten away with it, but God orchestrated the rise of a lowly Jewess to Queen, who saved her people.
The trail of intrigue that follows the Amalekites' hatred of the Jews leads straight to the White House and the politcal arena where Israel is still fighting for her survival.
