Walk In Wisdom, B

December 8, 2017

The book of James tells us that when we read the bible and ignore its commands and lessons, we are like a person who observes themselves in a mirror and then forgets what we look like when we walk away. That might sound extreme, but that’s how God views it when we hear his word and don’t actually follow what it says. Today pastor Jeff continues in his study of Proverbs chapter 19. We pick up with him using Romans chapter 8 expounding on the message titled, “Walk in Wisdom”

Its who we are when no one is looking. There are many men in the bible who displayed amazing godly character, and there were many examples of poor character such as king Saul. Publicly he looked the part, but inside his heart was in the wrong place. Join Pastor Jeff for the conclusion of the message, “Its all about Character” from Proverbs chapter 18

Today pastor Jeff will encourage us to nurter our children so that we can raise peacemakers. There are a lot of troubled people in this world. I wonder how many of them would have been spared their life style had they had a loving parent who talked to them in love, and prayed over them. Some times we find ourselves as parents doing nothing but discipline and not enough loving on them. Join Pastor Jeff Johnson for the conclusion of the message, “Peacemakers and Troublemakers”

One of the many titles of Jesus Christ is Prince of peace found in Isaiah chapter 9 verse 6. The peace that Christ brings to the human heart is unlike any the world can give. Man cries out for peace, longs for it even yet the world is in chaos still. It’s because they need the Prince of Peace to enter into their lives. We invite you to follow along with Pastor Jeff for the continuation of the message, “Peacemakers and Troublemakers”
