When God created marriage, He intended it to have harmony. For harmony to be maintained, both husband and wife have roles that are given by God. So when it comes to the roles in marriage being used as a tool to oppress the wife, God neither created it, nor condones it. As we look into Ephesians 5 in today’s broadcast, the apostle Paul shows us that submission in marriage and the model of the church submitting to Jesus have intersecting lines and application.
