The Road to Repentance Part 2

Pastor Jeff Johnson has an eye on chapter two which really describes the self-righteous. And in case you haven’t noticed, they’re all around us today. But here’s something else you need to know, our righteousness is filthy rags. And God has a much better plan for us. Get on the road to repentance and embrace the Savior who will then credit His righteousness to our account.

We take you into the New Testament book of Romans today. And in the middle of chapter one we enter a courtroom. God is the judge and mankind is on trial, found guilty of rejection and rebellion. With that said, there is wonderful hope for us all, and it’s in the gospel!

We head back to the book of Romans today. It’s there, we hear all about the gospel of grace, by faith in Jesus. It emphasizes not what you need to do for the Lord but what He has done for you. Romans chapter one and verse seventeen makes that abundantly clear.
