You never know what God is able to do with those around you who may seem to be the most antagonistic to Jesus Christ. You’ve shared with them, and shown them the love of God. And yet they seem to be even more irritated and aggressive towards you. It’s been said, “When you throw a rock into a pack of barking dogs, the one that barks loudest is the one who got hit.” And through your witness, they may be getting hit, or convicted by God’s Holy Spirit. Today Pastor Jeff shows ways in which Saul of Tarsus was overcoming obstacles as he was preaching the Gospel. And how God is able to do a mighty work through us as we overcome our obstacles as well. For many people the circumstances of their conversion is unforgettable. Those who were there, and what they experienced. Such was the case with Saul of Tarsus. It is referred to no less than three times. Because God wanted us to see how Paul’s first question and the goal of his life was about living for what Jesus called him to do. “Impossible, It’ll never happen, anyone but that person.” If these are some of the phrases you have heard to describe someone who doesn’t know the Lord, take heart. They may be the very person whom the Lord will save one day.
