When the believer allows the enemy to take hold of any area of their life, there is an opportunity for him to influence from that position. Whether sin, believing lies, or apathy, our adversary the devil will use any means necessary to gain an advantage over the believer. With timeless Biblical instruction and clear practical steps to take in response, Pastor Jeff Johnson shows us how to know when the spiritual warfare is ramping up its intensity and the weapons God has given to us in response. With more on that, let’s continue our study in Ephesians 6 titled, “Spiritual Warfare Part1”

And as we abide in God’s Word and filled with His Spirit, we will be strengthened to have victory.  With key principles in Spiritual Warfare, here is Pastor Jeff Johnson in Ephesians 6

During World War 1 some of the most iconic images in American history were produced. Most notable was the popular Uncle Sam Poster pointing a finger to the passerby saying, “I Want You.” In a similar way we’re in a war, and God is calling Christians to enlist. The war we face is not far away in a distant land, but right here in our workplaces and our homes. That brings us to Ephesians chapter 6 where Pastor Jeff helps us to see what God has given us for the warfare that is all around us. And in showing us our weapons, helps us to be aware and prepared. So, join us for the next few moments as we look at Spiritual Warfare Part 1 for today’s marching orders in Sound Doctrine.

As we spent a good majority of our time in speaking to the responsibility of Christian employees and the proper behavior to their employers, God also has a standard for Christian employers. Pastor Jeff Johnson reminds the believing employers that they also have a responsibility to the Lord for how they exercise their authority over others. He reminds us that those who are threatened can respond with resentment and anger. And that is why Jesus is our example. Being both Lord and Servant He provides a perfect balance to follow. With more on that let’s finish our series titled, “Employee/Employer Relationships Part 2” with Pastor Jeff in Ephesians 6.

Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time. And while it’s a promise that is not as popular as other Biblical promises, it may be very crucial to turning the tide in that work relationship. And while you may be praying that the Lord will change this heart or that heart, it may be that the heart He wants to change the most, is yours. In today’s edition of Sound Doctrine Pastor Jeff once again reminds us how humility is the key to improving work relationships as we delve once again into this powerful set of verses in Ephesians 6. So with more on that, let’s join Pastor Jeff in our study titled, “Employee/Employer Relationships - Part 2.”

While there is no completely ideal work situation, there is the possibility of being an ideal employee. Why is that? Because God can transform the work we do into worship when we do it sincerely, vigilantly, and ultimately do it for the glory of God. it becomes the sacrifice we offer back to the Lord. As we finish out our study on Employee/Employer Relationships - Part 1, Pastor Jeff challenges us to realize that God often uses the spotlight of work to reveal any areas of our walk with God that He wants to refine. So join us for our time in Ephesians 6 for today’s lesson in Sound Doctrine with Pastor Jeff Johnson.

When it comes to dealing with a difficult boss, there are times when it seems there is no where else to go and very little recourse to follow. The result is to allow frustration and bitterness to take over after a time. Unfortunately, that makes for an increasingly challenging work situation and doesn’t produce the fruit that God is able to bring out of your circumstances. Pastor Jeff Johnson offers a better alternative on today’s Sound Doctrine. If you feel like there is no way out as you look around, consider looking up... in ever increasing measure. God DOES have a plan in how He wants to be glorified in your work environment. With that in mind, let’s go to Ephesians 6 for our study titled, “Employee/Employer Relationships - Part 1” with Pastor Jeff

Jesus said cleanse the cup from the inside and then it will be clean on the outside. As we venture into our new series titled Employee/Employer Relationships in Ephesians Pastor Jeff Johnson takes us to helps us to see that the solutions to the inequities at work have a powerful but simple solution: The power of the Gospel to transform lives. On the part of the believer it is lived out as an advertisement. And when it is received by the co-worker or employer it transforms their lives including their relationships with their employees. For more in our message from Ephesians 6, here is Pastor Jeff for today’s encouragement in Sound Doctrine.

Just as we need oxygen, food, and water; so too we also have intangible needs as well. In godly homes parents need to provide those essentials that will allow them to grow in the Lord, experience God’s grace, His Word, and be equipped to be the people He has called them to be. As parents receive from the Lord those elements of walking with the Lord, then they will be able to provide them for their children. As we continue in our series of Parent-Child relationships Pastor Jeff Johnson reminds us that God has given us all that we need to grow and know Him, so that His peace and presence will be in our families as we raise our children in His ways. With our final installment of Parent-Child Relationships, here is Pastor Jeff in Ephesians 6 for today’s study in Sound Doctrine.
