Knowing God is knowing His Word. As our knowledge of God’s Word grows, so does our faith. As Paul thanked God for the church in Thessalonica, he attributed a lot of his thanksgiving to their receptivity to the Word of God. They received it and consumed it since they came to know the Lord. Pastor Jeff Johnson says that the more we are committed to knowing God’s Word, the more our faith will grow and our burdens will begin to diminish through time as well.
