Ready and Not Ashamed Part 2

July 18, 2022

We head back to the book of Romans today. It’s there, we hear all about the gospel of grace, by faith in Jesus. It emphasizes not what you need to do for the Lord but what He has done for you. Romans chapter one and verse seventeen makes that abundantly clear.

As this world continues its downward spiral in moral depravity, the challenge for Christians is to live a life of no compromise.  We certainly need encouragement in this area and Daniel gives it to us.  From a very young age he purposed in his heart to serve the Lord and live a God pleasing life, refusing to go with the crowd.  Let’s see how we need to do the same.

But it’s true, and we’re assured of it in God’s Word. Not because we’re deserving, but because God is so loving and gracious. That good news is our focus today on Sound Doctrine.
