Peter's Comforting Testimony Part 2

February 27, 2021

Typically Christians either believe God elects some for salvation, or that man is responsible and has the freedom to choose to be saved.  But is it possible God’s sovereignty and man’s responsibility merge together?  While it may seem they’re contradictory could it be they’re actually complimentary to one another!  See how the two intersect today on Sound Doctrine as our study of First Peter continues!

And it starts by getting our eyes on Jesus, rather than the circumstances surrounding us.

We take you up to two mountaintops today on Sound Doctrine.  Mount Calvary and the Mount of Olives.  One is suffering and the other glory!  As followers of Christ we can expect both.  Yes we will suffer, but we can also expect a resurrection that leads to glory.  Let’s talk about that, as together we open First Peter chapter one, and verses ten through twelve.
