Peter: A Character Study Part 2

February 3, 2021

You’ve probably noticed it in the books you’ve read.  Generally speaking, there’s a page or two written about the author!  That’s sort of what we’ll receive today on Sound Doctrine as we begin our series in First Peter.  We’re getting to know Peter, the author of the epistle.  And as pastor Jeff Johnson presents a character study you’ll see Peter was far from perfect and made his fair share of mistakes.  But God would still use him in great ways.

Temptation… it’s something we all deal with.  Even Jesus did.  But there’s a right and wrong way to handle it.  If you go about it in your own strength, expect to lose.  But if you’ll rely on the Lord, and follow His Word, victory is yours.  Pastor Jeff Johnson is about to finish the Song of Solomon chapter six, in part two of his message, “Seek and You Shall Find.”
