Thought we hear talk about the booming economy, for many it seems like it’s out of reach for their own bottom line, causing both parents to work. When God created marriage, He intended it to have harmony. For harmony to be maintained, both husband and wife have roles that are given by God. So when it comes to the roles in marriage being used as a tool to oppress the wife, God neither created it, nor condones it. As we look into Ephesians 5 in today’s broadcast, the apostle Paul shows us that submission in marriage and the model of the church submitting to Jesus have intersecting lines and application. Someone once said that the future is always beginning now. That is certainly true when it comes to relationships. And especially true when it comes to marriage relationships. The foundation that wives lay with their unsaved husbands, will pave the way for whether they are drawn close to Jesus or not.
