In chapter 10 of 1st Kings, we learn about the prosperity that came upon Israel. God gave them so much peace and wealth, that tourist from all over the world would flood the streets of Jerusalem. Sadly, the blessings didn't bring them closer to God, and this would be the beginning of their downfall.
