A growing phenomena within the church in the last days is that there are many believers who, while they have repented and acknowledged Jesus as their Savior by faith, yet still lack the assurance of their salvation in the Lord. It is to this dilemma that we find God has given us what the Bible refers to as the Helmet of Salvation. Today on Sound Doctrine Pastor Jeff Johnson helps us to see why this is such an integral piece of armor in the arsenal of walking and warfare as a Christian. So, please open your Bibles to Ephesians 6 as we take heed to need for the helmet of salvation with Pastor Jeff Johnson.

The Bible teaches that we are supposed to be in the world, but not of the world. So, how do we maintain that right balance of impacting our surrounding without allowing it to impact us or squeeze us into its mold? Pastor Jeff finishes our third installment of our study on the Shield of Faith. And in our time shows how we are able to both keep ourselves from being bitter or permanently damaged by the world in order to be a witness for the Lord. With that, we inv

Jesus said, “Sufficient for the day is it’s own troubles.” He went on to warn us about worrying about what the future holds. But to simply take one day at a time. The same is true when it comes to the stresses, the concerns, and the worries that the enemy wants to pile onto the Christian. Jesus is sufficient to lead us and show us how He intends to handle those issues that arise. In today’s broadcast of Sound Doctrine Pastor Jeff reveals that one of the ways He handles those issues is through the believer’s shield of faith. So join us for the next few moments as we join Pastor Jeff in Ephesians 6 for today’s encouragement in Sound Doctrine.

God doesn’t like lukewarm temperatures. He doesn’t appreciate indecisiveness. More specifically He doesn’t appreciate it when it comes to having a relationship with Him. Not only have we been called to a relationship with the almighty Creator of the universe. But we have been called to a relationship of soldier with a commanding officer. Why? Because the moment we accepted Jesus Christ into our lives, we have been immersed into a battle behind the curtain of the unseen world. And if we are going to have victory, the Lord wants us to be ready. That’s why Pastor Jeff shares that we need to have our war boots of the Gospel of peace on at all times. So join us for our final installment on this topic in Ephesians 6 with Pastor Jeff Johnson.

Our God is a dynamic God, who has a plan for the world to know Him. And He wants to use you and I to accomplish His plans, to share His Good News. And in order to use us for His eternal plans in people’s lives, He call us to be actively staying in tune with His Spirit, with His heart for those around us. In other words, God call us to be believers on the move. As we continue our studies in Spiritual Warfare Pastor Jeff Johnson helps us to see the need for wearing the shoes of the Gospel of Peace. And we will see that while the Lord wants to direct our steps, the enemy wants to distract them. Join us as we learn how to walk according to God’s battle plan, as we turn to Ephesians 6 for today’s encouragement in Sound Doctrine.

One of my favorite quotes from Pastor Jeff is that the problem with life is that it is sooo daily. Maybe you have felt that way before. And the same can be said of the spiritual warfare that we encounter as Christians. So when it comes to our response to the raging battle, our rest and strength come from the Lord. He provides both our victory and our hope as we experience increased clashes with the enemy. We pray that the Lord encourages you with our time in the Word today. With that in mind, let’s turn to Ephesians 6 for today’s encouragement in Sound Doctrine.

When it comes to having a sense of confidence in my own works, the Bible offers me little to support that mindset. The Bible tells us to walk in the Spirit and we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Walking in the flesh comes natural. We don’t have to exert ourselves, it’s a part of our old nature. However, as people who have received a new life in Christ, we also have a new strength or power from the Lord, and a new way to obtain that strength. With Biblical insight and practical examples, Pastor Jeff Johnson shows us how to daily live by wearing the spiritual armor of the breastplate of righteousness. It’s part of the Armor of God series in Ephesians 6. So, if you have your Bible, we encourage you to open up the Word and join us for our message in Sound Doctrine with Pastor Jeff Johnson.

The Christian lives between this world and the unseen world simultaneously. During times of increased spiritual warfare, there are many believers who retreat from the battle. However, in doing so, they leave all the tools and weapons that are given for their victory. In today’s edition of Sound Doctrine, Pastor Jeff Johnson calls us to be more engaged in the battles around us. He helps us to see that the only way upward is onward. It’s the final installment of our study titled, “The Belt of Truth”. So with that in mind, let’s join Pastor Jeff Johnson in Ephesians 6 for today’s study in Sound Doctrine.
