More often are the regrets we have over the unnecessary things, the hurtful things we said with our mouths than the times when we didn’t say anything at all. James tells us of all the members of the body, the tongue is the most destructive. Though mankind has accomplished great things in this world, there is still a lack, a void in his life. And instead of recognizing the void and the remedy in Jesus Christ, the natural man instead reinforces the rebellious heart against God all the while the Lord is reaching out to Him in love.
