Good Friday Part 1

When someone is about to die, they often say some powerful things! Today on Sound Doctrine, we’ll hear some of the final words of Christ on the cross, and they are profound! Pastor Jeff will also draw our attention to what Jesus went through prior to and during the crucifixion, as we open John chapter nineteen.

As you may know, Palm Sunday is coming up this Sunday. And in light of that, here on Sound Doctrine, we’ll set aside some time to learn about the significance of this day. Pastor Jeff Johnson will point out the prophecy that was spoken hundreds of years before the actual event, was spot on! Just as was foretold, Jesus would come into Jerusalem, riding on a donkey to the East Gate. Not only that, but the King of Glory is coming again!

Find your place in Acts chapter fifteen, as we’re again reminded the church is God’s, and problems that surface are to be solved His Way, not ours. This chapter describes a crisis that hit the church. Some were under the impression that you needed to obey the law and be circumcised, in order to be saved. Problem is, the law cannot save us. It’s by grace that we’re saved through faith.
