Years ago there was a popular commercial by the Army whose tagline said, “Be all that you can be.” The need for preaching and teaching gifts  in the church today is necessary to equip the saints for the work of ministry. The goal is a church mature in Christ, being built up in love. But we have discovered that many today are distracted. The result is that we no longer desire the teaching of God’s word to know and fulfill our calling. In today’s edition of Sound Doctrine Pastor Jeff reminds us of the importance that we each have to be all Christ has called us to be in Him. With that in mind, let’s join Pastor Jeff in Ephesians 4.
