Trials don’t make a person, but they reveal what is in that person when they come along. Pastor Jeff Johnson shows through the church in Thessalonica that through hardships the heart is revealed. And as we come along the trials that we face, we need to ask the Lord to build up our worth as we experience those hardships. While we don’t like the trials that we experience, we can face them head on, knowing that God has a plan in it to refine us so that our faith will come out to praise, honor, and glory when Jesus Christ is revealed to this world. So, with our study titled, “Encouragement Through Prayer,” let’s join Pastor Jeff in 2 Thessalonians 1 for our time in Sound Doctrine.
