Some of you are old enough to remember making a deal with a handshake.  Those days are long gone, as it’s rare for people to actually keep their word!  But the Christian should stand out in this world as being faithful to keeping our promises… or we shouldn’t make them in the first place.  That’s one of the lessons we’ll glean from Ecclesiastes chapter five on Sound Doctrine.

Pastor Jeff Johnson will continue our study in Ecclesiastes today.  We left off in chapter three, at verse eleven.  God is wanting to do a beautiful work in our lives, and make something beautiful out of our lives.  That comes shining through in this passage which emphasizes, in His time, God makes all things beautiful.

Today we get back into our series in Ecclesiastics.  We’ll be covering chapter three.  Our lives revolve around time.  Could you imagine trying to navigate through life without it?  When would we arrive at work, or schedule an appointment without the time?  God is also very concerned about time, and as we’ll see today there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.
