Chuck Crismier: Welcome aboard. I'm Chuck Crismier. Today, we take a look at what happened while America slept. And America is still sleeping, unfortunately. We're living in kind of a dazed position today. We don't quite understand what hit us on 9/11, and it's almost as if we don't much care. It's not that we have forgotten; it's that we never remembered. That's our problem. We never remembered what really happened.

We were told it didn't really happen that way. Even President George W. Bush said it didn't really happen that way, but it did. When he stood there at 9/11 in New York with a dramatic photograph, very much like the photograph of Donald J. Trump after he was shot—it was a very famous photograph with George W. Bush standing there as the President of the United States, holding the flag high, so to speak.

But he missed the entire point and actually, perhaps unwittingly, seduced the entire country into a devastating fall because we were yet sound asleep, as was he. You say, "Really? What are you talking about?" You're going to have to listen today, friends, because what happened on 9/11 did not begin at 9/11. One could say it actually began back in the early 1800s. But it began long before that. It began in 600 AD.

So today on Viewpoint, we're going to see the march of Islam and how the 9/11 attack really was one massive surge of an effort of Islam to gain traction to prepare for the coming of the Mahdi, the Muslim Messiah. That's what it was about ultimately from their viewpoint. Maybe not from our viewpoint, because we didn't see their viewpoint. We didn't understand it, and it's almost as if we didn't care.

So today on Viewpoint, I'm going to enlighten you as to what really happened and why it happened, and where it has led to this point in history. And history is still on the march because we're still sleeping at the switch. So I welcome you to Viewpoint. I'm Chuck Crismier. It's conversation as always with ever-increasing conviction—talk that transforms. And today is no exception.

From the shores of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, we will fight our country's battles on the land and on sea. That's the theme of the United States Marines, and it began with America's war on Islam. Believe it or not, it didn't start at 9/11. It didn't start in Afghanistan. It didn't start in Iraq. It didn't start in Iran. It started at the Battle of Tripoli that was fought directly to stop state-sanctioned piracy by Mohammedanism and extortion against American shipping.

They were seeking to control the West, the United States, England, and the world at that time. And the United States government, under Thomas Jefferson, said, "No way this is going to happen on our shift here in the leadership of our country." Often referred to as the Barbary or Mohammedan pirates, those states routinely seized foreign merchant vessels, enslaved or ransomed the crews—American crews—and demanded massive annual tribute payments.

Just like Iran is doing today with the Straits of Hormuz, they took them from Western nations for safe passage through the Mediterranean. The threat to America was intolerable, and for all practical purposes, we declared war in 1801 on the Mohammedans running the piracy endeavors against the West and against the United States. That may come as a shock to you, but that's exactly what happened.

And when George W. Bush took over the presidency from Barack Obama in 2001, it was only about six or seven months after he took over that the attack occurred at the World Trade Center towers, against the United States Pentagon, and an effort was made even to attack the Capitol. The effort was stopped in Pennsylvania. That's the whole 9/11 scenario, friends, that happened on the watch of George W. Bush, who American evangelicalism declared to be their poster boy for Christianity in America, restoring the faith in America.

He subsequently and immediately declared Islam to be a peaceful religion and then declared that Muslims, Christians, and Jews all worship the same God and then didn't leave it there—finally declaring all religions worship the same God. Were you aware of that? You talk about an assault upon America's heritage, upon the entire foundation of our institutions and our beliefs. That was it.

All in the name of the God who made and preserved us a nation, in the God whose name we claim to serve. But he lumped them all together. All religions worship the same God. Yet American evangelicals touted him as their poster boy. He appeared at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention somewhere around 2003. I was there at that time because of my national radio program. I was doing a program live there from the floor of the National Religious Broadcasters and then also attended several different breakout sessions in which I confronted one of the leading evangelical talk show hosts of the day privately.

I said, "How is it that you can continue to tout George W. Bush as this great representative of American Christianity and of evangelical Christianity, and he declares that all religions worship the same God?" Her answer: "Well, he's not the pastor-in-chief, he's just the commander-in-chief." I said, "Yes, but he just declared a most fundamental contradiction of the very essence of Christianity, which is there's only one way, one truth, and one life. No man comes to the Father but through Jesus Christ." But he said otherwise.

And then you touted him, and never has that person ever retracted that statement. We've got a real problem, friends, a very serious problem internally in our country, even within the professing body of Christ, even within the so-called strong conservative evangelical body of Christ. We don't get how these dots connect and how, in reality, the future of this country has been put at grave risk, not just by Islam, not just by Al-Qaeda on 9/11, but by we the people who are refusing to agree with God in the name of religious pluralism, political correctness, and multiculturalism. We'll be right back.

This evening begins what is known as Rosh Hashanah, which is the secular expression of the Jewish seventh feast of the—excuse me—fifth feast of the Lord set forth in Leviticus chapter 23, called Yom Teruah, or the blowing of trumpets. It is the fifth of seven specific feasts. They're called the fall feasts. This is the first of those that begins this evening at sundown and goes through Sunday.

There is nothing more that you and I as Christians and as Americans need to repent of than the utter heretical statement that was made by George W. Bush, the 43rd President, concerning the worship of God following the 9/11 attack. In order to try to make peace with the Earth. You cannot make peace with the Earth without making peace with God, friends. And to declare that Muslims, Jews, Christians, and all religions worship the same God is a monstrous, blasphemous heresy.

Even the Muslims do not believe that. If they did, then why are they after to destroy Israel? They don't believe that. They believe that they're destined to rule the world from the Temple Mount. That's their belief. They believe that the times are now here—the end times as they understand them—that their Messiah, called the Mahdi, is preparing to be manifested in the Earth to rule the world and bring the entire world under Islamic Caliphate, the rule of Sharia law.

What happened on 9/11 was a far worse, more dramatic situation than occurred in Massachusetts at Lexington with the shot heard round the world back in 1775. What happened on 9/11 was the attack heard round the world that completely shook up the entire world, not just America—the entire world and its expectations as to how to deal with God and who he was.

And that's the reason, friends, why Islam now has made its way throughout all of Europe: Germany, France, England. And has been able to do so without the use of the sword because the people welcomed Islam in—not because of free speech, but because they welcomed them in because they embraced the ideas of George W. Bush and the then Prime Minister of England, Tony Blair. That Islam was a nice, peaceful religion and that these were just 19 Saudi renegades that came in to upset the otherwise peaceful history of Islam in the world.

Nothing could have been further from the truth. They were absolute lies and were used to deceive the entire Western world. That's where we are today. You won't hear any of that on all the memorials and all the celebrations and all the remembrances with tears flowing down the eyes, but we're still asleep. You can have tears flowing down your eyes but still be asleep at the real issues. And that's where we are. You may not want to hear it this way, you may not even know the truth, but having heard this, you do know the truth, and it's up to you to decide what to do with it.

We have to decide, friends. You have to make a decision. We all must make a decision. Either Jesus Christ is the only way, the only truth, and the only life, or he isn't. And if he is, then the only choice is you receive him or reject him. If you receive him, you then are entered into the opportunity to walk with him in this life to eternal life. If you do not receive him or reject him, you do not have that opportunity, and you will be ultimately rejected in human history from the favor of God and a favorable eternal destiny. It's simple as that.

This country was founded on those understandings of righteousness and virtue, out of which law and order issued. This country was not founded on Sharia law. It was not founded on an Islamic caliphate and order. We have a completely different kind of government based upon a Christian foundation, a biblical foundation. No, you don't find the word "Bible" in the Constitution. That's not necessary because, as John Adams, the second president, said, "Our government is made only for a moral and Christian people. It is not capable of governing any other kind of people."

They have to be governed from the inside out, from the heart, because of their relationship with God and the fear of the Lord. If that does not exist, our government will ultimately fail. And that's why our laws have had to multiply over and over and over again. That's why we still can't quite get an understanding of what law and order really means. Law and order really begins with the law of the heart. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself.

On these two hang all the law and the prophets—not some, but all. And when we do those things from the heart, there is no need for government. The need for government is because men are not angels. That's why we need government and God ordains government. On the other hand, we believe in limited government because we're governed from the heart and not from some external force to compel us to do that which is right.

But Islam will compel you to do exactly its will. It's not something that comes from the heart; it's something that's superimposed upon you. And that's the whole spirit of Sharia law. You either do it, or you hang. That's the reason why over 50 people so far in Iran just in the last month or so have met their fate at the hangman's noose. And over 500, I think, so far this year. It's not a peaceful religion, friends, not even close. Not even close.

So, all that having been said as an opening statement here, America is sleeping. We're sleeping big time. So we move from George W. Bush from 2001 to 2009. In 2003, he's the one that declared that all religions worship the same God. Before that, within two weeks after the 9/11 attacks, he said Islam is a peaceful religion and it was just hijacked by these 19 renegades. No, it wasn't hijacked by the 19 renegades. They were just the expressions of the true fundamentals of Islam. They were carrying it out in the name of Al-Qaeda, and they accomplished their agenda.

They were willing to give their lives sacrificially as martyrs for the faith. That's what they did. And they felt that they were entitled to 72 virgins, whatever that is. I'm not sure where they're going to find them, but that's what they thought they were entitled to—false promises. Then in 2009, from 2009 to 2017, came another president, Barack Hussein Obama. Notice the word "Hussein." He was born in Kenya. His own mother said so. His brother said so. He was deemed to be a son of Kenya.

Yet the American people did not want to recognize that and did everything they could to foreclose all of that information from coming out from a governmental standpoint because they did not want to appear to be, shall we say, anti-Muslim. Because Barack Obama was raised a Muslim. He was raised in the largest Muslim country in the world, Indonesia. He did nothing but celebrate Islam. Upon his becoming president, the very first thing he did was go to the great Egyptian Muslim seminary or mosque there in Cairo and celebrate his election and also his declaration that Islam was a wonderful religion and America would never be against Islam, would never be against such a wonderful religion of peace.

Then he began to welcome, do everything he could to welcome Muslims into this country. His Iranian closest friend in the government helped facilitate that, and she was a Muslim. Now we're not going to go beyond that, but it's well known that Barack Obama was the premier agent in America to cause the Muslim invasion of this country. Donald Trump came into power in 2017 to 2021 and initially tried to do everything he could to straighten up our borders.

He realized that an invasion had taken place, but he was not welcomed. The government did not welcome him, the insiders in the government did not welcome that, the Democratic Party despised it. They wanted an invasion of this country. Joe Biden was then elected in 2021 to 2025, and then Donald Trump was re-elected in 2025 to date. He has now achieved in large measure the closing of the border. But the damage has largely been done in terms of that invasion.

Now it's on the inside. Does anybody not see the trajectory of this with an entire city, Dearborn, Michigan, having become a Muslim enclave where they air the Muslim call to prayer every day five times a day? Has nobody seen the impact of this with a dedicated Muslim now the mayor of the largest city in America where the World Trade Center was attacked by Muslim forces to compel the United States to submit to Islam?

And did you not know that the word "Islam" means to submit? It doesn't mean peace; it means to submit. Submit to what? Submit to Sharia law. And if you don't submit voluntarily, we'll take you at the sword. And so, the World Trade Center towers became emblematic of the attack to compel the United States as the most powerful expression of the free world to submit to Sharia law. They attacked our economic system through the World Trade Center towers, they attacked the military force through the attack on the Pentagon, and they were attacking the White House but didn't quite get there because of the quick action of a man who said, "Let's roll," and brought that plane down before it could reach the White House in Pennsylvania.

That's what happened. And we're trying to cover it over. We're trying to pretend that it didn't really happen that way, that there weren't these motivational forces. We're not connecting the dots, and we don't want to because it makes us feel uncomfortable to connect the dots. But somehow, if you really are interested in protecting the future of the country, which we claim to be a nation under God—not under gods—you have to recognize that something very severe has happened.

And now we're not waging war against Islam by the Marines; we're waging it right here on these shores in this country through elections and through the graft that is being used to siphon off untold billions of dollars—for instance, out of Minnesota in order to line the pockets of Somalian Muslims that are trying to take over Minnesota. Friends, this is not a game, it's a war. And it is a spiritual war. Whether you want to call it a religious war is not—I don't care what you call it. It's a spiritual war. It's a war of the spirit of Islam, which is the spirit of Antichrist, against the spirit of Christ or what's left of it in this country. We'll be right back.

Welcome back to Viewpoint. I'm Chuck Crismier. Today we go back further in history now, showing the foundations of what we have been experiencing as a result of the 9/11 attack, September 11, 2001. That was merely the most modern expression and perhaps one of the most dramatic expressions of the advance of Islam and its intent to rule the world. But it didn't begin there.

And it didn't begin back in 1801 when the first Barbary War was declared by Thomas Jefferson against the Barbary pirates there at Tripoli. And so the Marine Corps has its hymn, "From the shores of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, we will fight our country's battles in the air, on land, and sea." Where do you think that hymn came from? The battle against Mohammedanism, which is what it was called then. Islam was then called Mohammedanism. It's been shortened now to Islam, which means submission.

So at that time, it was a great threat to America. American shipping was protected by the British Royal Navy, and after the Revolutionary War, American merchant ships became easy targets. By the late 1790s, the US was spending up to 20 percent of its total government budget on tributes and ransoms to these Muslim states. And the breaking point came in 1801 when the Pasha of Tripoli demanded a massive increase in tribute—$225,000 in 1801.

When newly inaugurated President Thomas Jefferson refused, the Pasha cut down the American flagpole at the US Consulate and effectively declared war. While the Barbary states were Muslim and the US was predominantly Christian, somebody would say the conflict was not driven by religious ideology. Well, in effect, yes, that's true because it was about economics, but it was the Muslim motivation to rule the world that drove what they were doing.

They were coming against the West and seeking to finance their endeavors to spread Islam throughout the world. So it was a piracy model that they used. The Barbary states targeted ships from any nation, including Christian European powers. And if those nations failed to pay the demanded tribute, it functioned like state-sponsored organized crime or an extortion racket rather than a holy war. But it was driven by Mohammedanism, the ism of Mohammed.

Now, we move from there and we go backwards in history to the year 610 AD. All of this began in the year 610 AD when the Prophet Mohammed began Islamic revelations, leading to the rapid rise of the caliphates across the Middle East, North Africa, and Spain. Now, how did that happen? How did that rapid rise take place? Did it take place by proselytizing? Did it take place by urging people to believe in the prophecies of Mohammed and to submit themselves voluntarily? No.

It was done at the point of the sword or the saber. Look at the flag of Iran. Do you not see the saber there? That's the symbol of Islam. You either submit voluntarily and suffer a horrendous tax that will forever keep you in submission, or you're going to be killed. So what did Mohammed say? In the Quran, he said, "Find them"—that is, Jew and Gentile—"wherever they're hiding, behind every tree, wherever they're hiding, find them and cut off their heads."

A true religion of peace, right? Where did George W. Bush get the idea that Islam is a religion of peace? As Islam made its way across Northern Africa and into Spain, how did they do it? By attack, constant attack. Not by trying to urge them to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ or believe in Mohammed and believe in the Quran and so on. That's not how they did it. They did it through compulsion.

You either submit or you're out of here, you're dead. So a lot of people submitted, and then over time, they became practicing Muslims. So far did that go that it advanced through Spain and on the way to France, got all the way up to Paris in around 700 AD. At around 700 AD, Charles Martel met the marauding hordes of Islam and defeated them. If he had not defeated them, Europe would have been completely overrun by Islam by 800 AD.

Instead, in 800 AD, Charlemagne was crowned the Holy Roman Emperor of Western Europe. That would never have happened if Charles Martel had not short-circuited the marauding violence of Islam as it sought to take over the Western world. Islam has had not very much effect to take over the Chinese world. Islam has about 20 percent of the population there in Russia. So Vladimir Putin about 10 years ago declared that Russia is the protector of the Islamic world.

So if Russia is the protector of the Islamic world and the Islamic world is seeking to destroy the Western world and to submit us to Sharia law, then by definition we can understand why Vladimir Putin might not have too much favor to be nice to the United States of America, because Islam is a ruling factor in Russia. So we move from there. This all began in 610 AD, 400 years after Christ, and the world changed dramatically.

Islam became a major factor in the world. Now, I'm going to say this in all deference to many, many Muslim people, and I'm saying this in true conviction and understanding because I know many and have had—I know it's a proverbial phrase—I've had friends who were Muslims. Yes, indeed. And I could quote many of them around where I've had relationship with them and they are very good friends. In fact, very good friends had no thoughts or feelings like what we're talking about here.

But we're talking about Islam as it is, not as we wish it were. Not as it's manifested by people who claim to be Christians because they grew up in America or because they go into a church once a month or once a year. They're not really Christians. They're wannabe Christians. So they provide no threat to anybody. Neither do Muslims who are Muslim in name only or by their heritage but are not practicing Muslims.

What we're talking about here is a genuine belief system that is the combination, the only actual fervent combination of church and state in the world today—Islam. Now, where does it go from here? Well, it was cut off there in the mid to late 700 ADs in Europe. So then it began to deepen—Islam began to deepen in the Arab and then also the general world around Southern Europe and then down into Africa and Western Asia. Turkey.

Turkey was once a ruler for 400 years over Jerusalem under the Ottoman Empire, which was Muslim. How did they gain dominion? By war. That's how. They didn't gain dominion over Jerusalem by twiddling their thumbs or coming in and saying sweet nothings to the Jewish people or to Christians. No. It was by war. So then in 1095 AD, about 300 years later after Islam was stopped at Paris by Charles Martel, they had gained such dominion into the Middle East, including Israel.

Pope Urban II called for the First Crusade at the Council of Clermont in November of 1095 AD. He urged European Christians to take back Jerusalem and the Holy Land from Muslim rule. Remember, the Muslim rule had happened as a result of war. It was done through force or threat of force. Why? Because they wanted to rule and reign from what they perceived to be the most powerful place on Earth religiously, Jerusalem.

Did you know that to this very day, Iranian leaders have indicated that they intend to rule the world for Islam on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and not from Mecca? How do they intend to do that? Think about these things, friends. This is real history, not the pretend history.

Remember, George W. Bush in 2003 made it very plain. He said, "I believe in an Almighty God." He doesn't say "I believe in Almighty God," he said "I believe in an Almighty God. And I believe that all the world, whether they be Muslim, Christian, or any other religion, prays to the very same God." He said, "That's what I believe." Then he said, "I think we just have different routes of getting to the Almighty."

In other words, he did not understand or embrace the simplest expression of the Christian faith which Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man will come to the Father but by me." In other words, no man will come to God but by me. He didn't believe that. Then one day, George Bush's wife, very nice, pretty lady, was asked about George W. Bush and his claim to be an evangelical Christian.

And she said, "I never heard him make such a claim. I never heard him make such a claim." Now, he went to a United Methodist Church, hyper-liberal, there in Dallas, Texas. They believe a lot of things that the Bible doesn't teach. And of course, he wanted to make peace with all men. I can understand that as the President of the United States. But to betray the very Lord that he claimed to serve, who said, "I am the way, and not only the way, the only way, the only truth, and the only life, that no man will come to the Father but by me."

And he says, "No, I'm the President of the United States, and I say that all religions are worshipping the same God are going to get there." George W. Bush did more damage to this country and paving the way for Islam than any other president, and he was a Republican. But it didn't stop there. It was picked up by Barack Hussein Obama. And he, as I put in an inquiry: who was the most influential president in opening the floodgates to Islam in America?

The answer: Barack Obama. Brought more Muslims into this country than any president in 250 years while denying he was a Muslim. Why is it then that he went across to the whole Muslim world, the very first thing in his presidency, to try to make amends with the Muslim world and make nice? Because that's where his heart was. His heart was not with Christ; it was with the Muslim world.

And so he brought in, through many, many different ways, into our government. You talk about insurgency? You talk about coming across the border? This came across the religious border, the faith border, ushered in by the President of the United States who was voted into office by 90 percent of the Black population that claimed to be Christian, that claimed to believe that Jesus Christ was the only way, the only truth, and the only life.

And even by Jewish people, 70 percent of the Jewish people in this country who believed that all religions did not worship the same God and that Muslims were the arch-enemy of Israel and sought to destroy Israel, but they still voted him in. Do you see how we betrayed ourselves blindly? Were we asleep? Were we in some sort of a drug-induced sleep to where we could not see straight what was happening? Apparently. Or we just chose to believe something that wasn't true notwithstanding that the truth was slapping us in the face in a deadly way.

So we go back. We go back to history. We know that the Crusades began in 1095. The goal of the Crusades was to take back Jerusalem for both Jew and the Holy Land from Muslim rule. So Western European knights and lords and commoners answered the call, forming large military expeditions. So what was the final outcome? I ask the question: who started and who won the Crusades in history?

Here was the answer: the final outcome after two centuries of conflict favored the Muslim forces, though things went back and forth for a while. There ended up being eight total Crusades; four of them were the primary things we're told about or taught about. The overall winner were Muslim forces who won the overarching war by 1291—the final Christian strongholds in the Holy Land, including Acre, had fallen, ending Christian control in the region. Christ was out, Islam was in.

So, what was the next effect? The next effect was that the Ottoman Turks came in in the name of Islam and ruled the Holy Land and Jerusalem for 400 years. Where do you think the Golden Dome was built? When do you think that was built? When was it that the Christian church or basilica called the Hagia Sophia was taken over by Muslims? Did that happen by proselytizing? No, it happened at the point of the sword.

Not submission, not people being voluntarily submissive to the will of Islam, but being coerced by threat of force or even death by Islam. And all of that is celebrated in the name of Allah. Allahu Akbar. God is great or the greatest. Why do they continue to yell that when they're killing other people, slaughtering them? Because it is a totally religious-driven expression. That's why.

So, whether or not you want to admit it for political purposes or any other purpose, whether you think it isn't calculated to bring peace on earth, goodwill toward men, whatever you may think, the truth of the matter is Islam is dedicated to rule the world. And they intend to do so. And that's the reason why Donald Trump is meeting with such resistance that he can't quite understand from Iran.

Because they don't think like he does. They don't think like the Western world does. To them, becoming a martyr for taking over the world is the best thing that could ever happen to them. They're not so much interested in the money, only in so far as they can use it—the Western money—to destroy the West. They want to use Western democracy to destroy Western democracy. That's the insurgency in this country. That's why it's happening, how it is happening from coast to coast.

And we still refuse to admit it. We're so adept and intent on saying we have freedom of religion. Yes, we do have freedom of religion, to worship God in the way you please. But not to use it as a means to violently overtake the people, or to use democracy as a vehicle deceptively to take over, to remove democracy or the Democratic Republic from the very essence of the country, which is what their intent is. Why can we not see this? Why are we so intently blind?

And our current president, Donald J. Trump, is beside himself because the man who has been so adept at making a deal can't seem to make a deal, because they're not interested in the kind of deals that Western people make. They're not moved by the money. They're moved by domination. That's the only thing that moves them. Is there anybody listening today?

The American and French Revolutions did nothing to upset this advance. This advance had to wait until the propitious moment of history in order to begin the final advance. For now, we are in that period of history, whether you want to admit it or not. We are in this period of history just before the return of our Lord when he described and the prophets and the apostles described the kinds of conditions that would exist.

And we read in the book of Revelation, and we read in the book of Daniel, and we read about the great powers of the south—that's Islam—and the great powers of the east—that's China and some of the other Eastern nations—and then the north, which would largely be the Western world: Europe and then by implications America, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, the English-speaking world. Those great forces would come together in one massive conflagration.

Now here's the thing. You and I in and of ourselves cannot do anything about that. That's a fact of history and prophecy. I've painted the history. It's very real and told you of the prophecy. So what can we do? So far what I've been providing to you is information to help us understand the dynamics of what have taken place. So what do we do? We live with absolute commitment to the Kingdom of God and his righteousness.

To seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness. In other words, we walk in repentance. This is Yom Teruah, the day of the blowing of trumpets in the Jewish world. It means a call to repentance. And in the Jewish world, they're given 10 days, called Days of Awe, to repent. In other words, to come clean with God, to see what we have done, how we have walked away from a life committed absolutely to God and his word and his ways, both individually, in our families, and then in our country and the world.

As a nation, we should repent of what we did. We should repent of what our President George W. Bush did, of what Barack Hussein Obama did in the invasion of this country with a false god and a false religion. We should do that. But we all ought to repent of the things that we can control and know about that are setting us up for God's vast disapproval to allow these things to happen to the land of the free that's increasingly becoming only the home of the brave.

Like what's going on in our homes, our marriages, our relationships, our business dealings individually, our raising of our children or not in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
