In what is now Turkey, the church at Philadelphia was commended by Jesus for being faithful to His name. Churches still grow even in hostile places… churches about which Jesus says, “I’ve set before you an open door, and no one can shut it.”

About Dr. Erwin W. Lutzer

He earned a B.Th. from Winnipeg Bible College, a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary, a M.A. in Philosophy from Loyola University, and an honorary LL.D. from the Simon Greenleaf School of Law (Now Trinity Law School).
