When You’ve Been Wronged
Conflict in relationships is inevitable, but healing and reconciliation often is not. Time and again we've tried every option and failed, and all we are left with is a load of guilt and pain. Pastor Erwin Lutzer shows how the blessing the Lord gives to those who suffer unjustly is worth the pain involved. He also illustrates the need to leave our broken relationships in the hands of God and move forward in our lives toward freedom. December 25th was not the day Jesus was born, but it is the date set aside for us to honor that birth. For Mary His mother, that birth began a long period of pain and sorrow, a personal toll we seldom consider during this time of year.

Soon we’ll celebrate the central event in human history: the coming of Jesus Christ to live among us. While Christians can now enjoy the benefits of the Savior’s birth, life, death and resurrection, there was one person who felt great pain when He came.

People are in deep bondage while under the illusion that they’re free. The Jews of Jesus’ day thought they were free, and didn’t like being told they needed deliverance. In this message we learn more about Jesus, the great gift-giver.

Jesus said, “Everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. If the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed.” That’s great news! Freedom is more than not being in jail. Freedom is living without the shackles of sin and its penalty.

“Greater love hath no man, than a man lay down his life for his friends.” That’s what Jesus said, and that’s what He did. There is no greater love than the love of God through His Son, and that’s a wonderful Christmas gift.
December 19, 2017
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” The life He offers to those who believe is an eternal one. This Christmas, let’s be thankful for the life our Savior promises, a life that transcends and overcomes our eventual death on earth.
December 18, 2017
At Christmas we’d rather not think about the end of life. But Jesus gives eternal life to those who believe in Him. This means that death is not the end. Instead, death will give way to victory as we enter into the real life we were meant to live.
December 15, 2017
The lights of Christmas come down in January. But the light Jesus brings into the hearts of believers can burn brighter every day. Sin can quickly douse that light, so we must be diligent to walk in the paths of righteousness.
December 14, 2017
The Christmas season is officially upon us. But many don’t understand the significance of the celebration. It’s sad that so much darkness permeates our culture, but that’s why we look to Jesus as our source of light.
